WORK SITES ARE COMPLEX ENVIRONMENTS.
Construction must be well planned. Materials must be reliable. Scaffolding, planking, wiring and supports must be secured and handled with precision to prevent accidental injury or death. Heavy items must be moved carefully and with proper ergonomics to prevent sprains, strains, and tears. Sadly, that’s not always the case. It’s not uncommon for a construction site worker or visitor to fall from a ledge, be struck by falling debris, inhale dust, suffer from excavation-related injuries, or experience medical problems from confinement to small spaces.
