Fellerman and Ciarimboli give presentation on gas drilling legal issues

We were thrilled about the opportunity to come and present to the Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition’s February 2012 general membership meeting.

From Citizens Voice (February 7, 2012):

The Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition will hold a general membership meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dallas American Legion, Route 415, Dallas.

Attorneys Greg Fellerman and Ed Ciarimboli of the Kingston-based law firm of Fellerman & Ciarimboli and Attorney Charles Speer of Kansas City, Mo., will give a presentation on legal matters related to natural gas drilling and its associated industries. Anyone who was harmed or potentially harmed in any way – person, property, health – by drilling or natural gas-related industries is welcome to attend. Photo identification, including address, will be required for admittance.

The Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition consists of Luzerne County residents concerned about potential problems caused by the natural gas industry.

For information or to arrange for a speaker to make a presentation to your group, call 570-266-5116, visit, email or “Like” Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition on Facebook.

If you live in and/or close to Luzerne County and are as concerned as we are about the potentially damaging impact that horizontal fracturing (fracking) could have on the community, then please consider getting involved in the Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition cause. The purpose of the organization is simply to engage in efforts meant to protect our communities from the barley-understand and potentially hazardous effects of fracking. The coalition

… includes Luzerne County citizens concerned about the many problems horizontal fracturing (“fracking”) will bring to this populated and developed area. Concerns include polluted water supplies, toxic waste, radioactive mud, dirty air, depleted water habitat, noise, eminent domain, loss of farmland, loss of tourism, higher crime rates, more drug use, more traffic, more accidents, lowered property values, and increased taxes. Their goal is to protect Wyoming Valley communities and the environment from exploitative gas drilling. (Courtesy: Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition to host informational meeting –
