“Thank you” to both you and your staff

Dear Greg,

I wanted to send this email to say, “Thank you” to both you and your staff for all of the hard work you’ve put into my legal case against Boscov’s.

When I got injured that afternoon this past December, I remember being in that parkade in a ton of pain. I was scared, confused, upset, but then I was most of all angry. I remember thinking, “This should NOT have happened! How could they have allowed this to happen?!” It was 4 days before my youngest son’s 2nd birthday, 12 days before Christmas, and there I was, in excruciating pain, my ankle swollen to twice its size, thinking, “What the hell do I do now?”

It was a Sunday, so the only way I knew how to reach you was via Facebook message. I was hopeful you would get back to me maybe the next day, but your response was almost instantaneous! You advised me on what to do that night, and gave me your cellphone number so we could talk in-depth the next day. THANK YOU, Greg! You immediately put my mind at ease, and never once made me feel as though I was an imposition for contacting you on a Sunday.

Since my first meeting with Matt Reed, I felt confident and completely at ease with him. He has kept me informed about the case every step of the way. No matter what questions or concerns I had, he was quick to answer them and explain each step in the process, so that I knew what was happening, as well as what to expect.

When we had the first meeting at your office, I was anxious. I had never been injured due to someone else’s negligence, and had never sued anyone in my life. From the moment my husband, son and I stepped out of that elevator, we were greeted with kindness and respect. Once we met with Lisa in the conference room to talk about the details of the incident, she almost immediately put me at ease – she was warm, personable, and relatable – and she never made me feel bad for having a rambunctious toddler running around the room! After all of the paperwork was signed and the process was explained, she made a scary situation, well, not so scary. In the following months, no matter what questions I asked (even though some of them may have seemed trivial, or silly to me), she never made me feel as though they WERE silly or trivial.

Since my first meeting with Matt Reed, I felt confident and completely at ease with him. He has kept me informed about the case every step of the way. No matter what questions or concerns I had, he was quick to answer them and explain each step in the process, so that I knew what was happening, as well as what to expect. He’s not only a smart guy, but a genuinely nice person.

We are in the home stretch of this case, and it should be over with any day now. I know that my case is not a huge one. I know there are many others worth more than mine. That’s why I wanted to let you know that the overall feeling I have of your firm, is that the monetary amount was not relevant. I feel as though you and your entire team truly cared. You saw someone do wrong, and you wanted to make it right. And for that, I am grateful. I would, without hesitation, recommend your firm to anyone who was hurt due to someone else’s negligence.

Thank you again Greg, for all that you’ve done to help.

With Thanks,
Tara Bellio & Family
